The point directly opposite Panama on Earth is in the Indian Ocean. Based on its longitude, the local solar time there is now . At that point it is currently night. That point is exactly on the other side of the Earth: 9.0° S, 100.0° E.
On the open sea there is not always an official local time zone. We therefore use local solar time based on longitude.

Panama does not use daylight saving time. The UTC offset therefore stays the same all year.
